WELCOME TO MEDIA RELEASE PRODUCTIONS
Based in Perth, Media Release Productions (MRP) is proudly West Australian owned and operated by Geoff and Georgia Waldock, veterans of the television industry.
MRP came into being in 1996 with an SP Betacam camera and edit suite, producing work for the Western Australian Government and corporate clients. MRP changed tack and expanded their business in 2000 when Channel 10 Perth centralised its operations in Sydney. Geoff and Georgia purchased the local studio facilities which were fitted into a truck - The OB1. Since that time, there has been no turning back with many upgrades to equipment and facilities, keeping pace with the new digital environment. In fact there is very little in MRP's present setup that resembles the original truck.
MRP provides a range of broadcast and video production services to both television stations and corporate clients. Services range from small single camera shoots, post production and event management, through to multi camera live event telecasts and feeds to news stations.
Geoff and Georgia believe their biggest asset is their passionate and enthusiastic crew. Trained and experienced, each member is a specialist in their own field. MRP's camera operators, editors, audio and technical directors are highly regarded within the industry and the force behind our quality production services.
